Reflexology is an ancient healing technique that is based on acupressure massage applied to “reflex points” on the feet.
These reflex points in the feet correspond to the body’s organs, systems and parts. Manipulation of these points allows the corresponding Areas in the body to be stimulated while removing blockages and congestion.
Blockages and congestion within the body are caused by illness, stress, pain, toxins, emotions, poor diet, etc. Removal allows the energy within the body to flow more freely promoting overall health and well being, both physically and emotionally.
Reflexology reduces nervous tension, thereby inducing a deep state of relaxation. Vitality is increased as the trapped energy is released from tense parts of the body.
Circulation of blood is improved, aiding improved transport of nutrients throughout the body and elimination of waste products, thus promoting detoxification.
Reflexology is used to relieve a wide range of stress-related disorders and chronic illnesses. This list below details some of the conditions that can be improved through reflexology:
Our bodies need the correct balance of nutrients to function well. Nutritional therapy recognises that we are all biochemically unique and therefore need tailored programmes of diet, lifestyle and where necessary nutritional supplements. Nutritional therapy will provide an optimal and individual nutrition programme.
A detailed case history is undertaken and where appropriate laboratory tests in order to provide optimal nutrition advice tailored to the individual. My recommendations will work to support the channels of detoxification, enhance digestive function, balance blood sugar, address food intolerance or sensitivity, support natural immune defences and balance hormone or neurotransmitter imbalances.
Diet and lifestyle recommendations are individually tailored, making it realistic and achievable. Recommendations will include meal ideas, recipes, shopping lists, targeted therapeutic grade nutritional supplements and lifestyle changes.
Nutritional Therapy is not a replacement for medical advice. I always recommend that you consult with your GP for a serious health condition. Nutritional Therapy can and is frequently used along side conventional medical treatment, either to support treatment or to alleviate some of the side effects.
There is good scientific evidence to support the use of nutrition to alleviate health problems and to help in the prevention of chronic disease.
Nutritional therapy is prescriptive to individual concerns. It can take time for the body to respond and come back into balance, although you can expect to see some immediate improvements. Therapy is about identifying and resolving the underlying factors involved.
Its recommended to have a minimum of two nutritional therapy sessions, many clients require three or four. Initial consultation takes approximately 90 minutes, follow ups can be between 60 or 30 minutes.
As a nutritional therapist (Sarah Kaye), I work with clients that have a wide range of health issues, and I have particular expertise in improving digestive health and correction gut dysfunction correcting gut dysfunction i.e IBS, constipation, diarrhoea, over production of gas and smelly gas, abdominal pain, reflux, bloating , toxin avoidance, detoxification support, weight loss, improving energy, supporting the endocrine/ hormone balance, immune and nervous system; adrenal dysfunction and insulin resistance, chronic fatigue; reversing diabetes type 2, polycystic ovaries, fatty liver disease and reversing high cholesterol naturally, improving general wellness, and weight loss using tailored nutrition programmes which may include the use the a naturopathic wholefood approach, or Prodimed medical protein diet for those with a BMI over 28, adrenal imbalance or sluggish nervous system and insulin resistance can affect ability to lose weight.
Before the consultation, I will ask you to complete a questionnaire and diet diary which I can post or email to you.
Ozone therapy (otherwise known as oxidation therapy) restores, enhances, and maintains health and well-being. The treatment involves application of energised oxygen (ozone) either topically through the use of a sauna or systemically through rectal, vaginal, or aural application, depending upon individual client requirements.
Ozone therapy optimises cell function by activating enzyme reactions at a cellular level.

I use a range of laboratory tests to help identify how the body systems are functioning. Tests include: hair mineral analysis, blood sampling, urine and stool analysis to ascertain a current picture of health, any existing vitamin and mineral deficiencies, parasitic infections, or heavy metal levels within the body. I offer a full range of testing, please see the complete list below.
Living in the 21st century can be a very stressful existence. We’re exposed to more and more environmental stress and pollution, we have stress related to work and exams and even some of the food that we eat can be stress inducing. When we are exposed to stress our adrenal glands produce cortisol to help the body cope. If we are too stressed our adrenal glands start to fatigue and cant produce enough cortisol and we end up entering the vicious circle of stress related illnesses.
The way we produce cortisol is different for every individual that’s why most adrenal testing procedures monitor cortisol levels at different points of the day. The test gives an indication of how our body is coping with stress.
Food allergy is not the same as food intolerance. A classical food allergy is actually quite rare (such as peanut or shellfish allergy) is usually characterised by immediate and often severe reaction of the immune system to exposure to a specific food. The symptoms of food allergy include sneezing, rashes, skin irritation, swelling, runny nose, fatigue, diarrhoea and vomiting. Onset of symptoms is very quick, generally within few minutes of eating or coming in to contact with the offending food, although they can be delayed by up to two hours. The most common food allergies are to peanuts, tree nuts (almonds and brazils), eggs, milk, fish and shellfish.
A food allergy stimulates a specific (IgE)antibody response to ‘fight off’ the allergens found in these foods. When the food is eaten it triggers an immune system response which results in the release of histamine and other naturally occurring chemicals in the body. Allergic reactions to food vary in their severity and can be fatal.
Food intolerance is extremely widespread and it is estimated that 45% of the population could be affected. Sufferers often complain of seeming to be in a ‘fog’, feeling bloated and being tired all the time. Food intolerance is your body’s abnormal reaction to certain foods. Some people will have one symptom such as a severe headache whilst others may experience irritable bowel syndrome, migraine and skin or respiratory conditions.
A food intolerance test can detect food specific IgG antibodies Once identified its easy to identify problem foods.
Hair Mineral Analysis Helps To Assess Your Toxic Metal Exposure & Nutrient Mineral Reserves.
Adequate and balanced nutrient minerals are essential for the structural integrity of your bones, teeth, and connective tissue acting as co-factors in hundreds of enzymes and therefore regulating all chemical processes in the body allowing electrical activity in the body, essential for nerve conduction and for muscle contraction and relaxation regulating fluid balance throughout the body via a process known as osmosis. Simply put, minerals are indispensable for life. The Hair Mineral Analysis measures nutrient minerals that are essential for your health.
In addition, our environment contains numerous heavy metals that are toxic to us because they interfere with the function of our nutrient minerals. We are frequently exposed to many toxic or heavy metals as by-products of modern industrialised life. Mercury, lead, arsenic, and cadmium are some of the most common, but this Hair Mineral Analysis measures a potentially toxic minerals you may have been exposed to and that may be affecting your health.
Mineral ratios offer some general indications of your underlying metabolic rate as well as your thyroid and adrenal function
While hair mineral analysis is an excellent test, it has some significant limitations that must be taken into consideration when interpreting your results.
Hair is always subject to external contamination, since it is obviously outside your body, but by observing the patterns of antagonistic minerals we can often identify if external contamination is an issue – for example mercury is antagonistic to selenium and if an elevated mercury burden is real and not due to an external contamination, then your selenium levels in the hair should be low. Each heavy metal has its antagonist nutrient minerals, increasing the likelihood of identifying potential contamination.
Some important minerals, specifically calcium, magnesium, and zinc, are idiosyncratic – either low or high levels in the hair indicates the need for additional supplementation of these minerals. Low levels reflect nutrient insufficiency, while high levels indicate metabolic “dumping”.
Hair levels of potassium, iron, and copper do not reflect body levels and are only useful in ratios or to identify external contamination.
All hair tests are not created equal. Most hair testing laboratories use an older and cheaper technology known as ICP-Atomic Emission Spectroscopy to measure the mineral levels in your hair, but the results are simply not reproducible – if you send them two samples, you will likely get two completely different results. Genova Diagnostics is one of only a few labs in the world that uses state-of-the-art ICP- Mass Spectrometry which is much more accurate and produces highly reproducible results.
Ideally this test should be done alongside a nutritional consultation/ regime to ensure correct interpretation of the result.
Colonic Hydrotherapy/ Irrigation is amongst one of the oldest recorded medical treatments, with descriptions of first use dating back to Egyptian times. Colonic Hydrotherapy helps the body to detoxify, and is a great way to kick start a weight loss programme. Some of the many therapeutic uses are listed in the below:

Colonic irrigation treatment is a very quick and effective way to totally detoxify the colon from all the yeasts, toxins and build up which occurs over time.
Colonic hydrotherapy cleanses, tones and exercises the colon, helping to re-educate the colon back to its original form and improve bowel transit time. Microflora within the bowel are re-balanced helping to regulate the bodies metabolic processes. The cleansed bowel is able to better absorb nutrients and toxins in the body are greatly reduced, improving liver function. Conditions that are secondary to poor bowel function, e.g. arthritis, inflammatory conditions, poor circulation can be greatly improved by colonic hydrotherapy. Congestion of other eliminatory organs (skin, lungs, kidneys, liver) is also improved. You can expect to feel an increase in energy and well being following a treatment. Colonics are great for people who are embarking upon a step change in life.
