How it works:
This treatment uses the cutting edge, patented advancements of Fotona lasers to give incredible results without downtime.
The Fotona 4D™ treatment strengthens collagen and lifts the skin by collagen contraction. New collagen production is also stimulated, resulting in tightness and increased elasticity of your skin. The synergistic laser treatments treat both the exterior of the face as well as the interior oral cavity to produce results from both inside and out.
Treatments have the ability to be tailored to the individual allowing versatility in the procedures and treatments, giving incredible skin tightening results which are natural as it has stimulated your own collagen to tighten and plump the skin. It therefore gives a natural not ‘fake’ look and has no risk of injectables. This technique has been perfected to enhance the 4D treatment to a 5D or even 6D treatment addressing the specific concerns of individual patients.
The overall result is tightening, volumising and restoring of collagen to the face which reduces the depth of the nasolabial and melomental folds (the lines from nose to lips, and lips to chin), and helps restore lip volume. The treatment will also improve your skin tone and texture.
Expected Results:
There are some noticeable minor improvements after a week but the greater improvements are 4-6 weeks after the first procedure, improvement will build with additional treatments and even after the treatment series is completed you will continue to see ongoing improvements for up to 9-10 months due to collagen and elastin regeneration.

Treatment Interval: 4-6 weeks, we recommend a minimum of 3 treatments, number of treatments depends on desired outcome. Annual maintenance treatment of Fotona4D™ laser will reboot the collagen. You may repeat maintenance treatments more frequently if desired.
Pre-Treatment Advice: Do not use self tanning products for up to 2 weeks before treatment. Sunbathing not allowed for up to 2 weeks before treatment. Specific advice around pre treatment care will be provided at your initial consultation.
Post -Treatment Advice: You will be advised on aftercare and suitable products to use on your skin post treatment at your consultation, SPF 50 must be applied over all areas treated for 2 weeks post treatment.

BOOKING A CONSULTATION
When you contact us, we start with an informal chat, asking about your concerns. Our experienced staff will be able to go through potential treatments that can help with your concerns. We will also address any wider areas of skin/body concerns you may have and guide you towards which treatments may be most beneficial for you.
You will then be offered an initial consultation for our clinical team to discuss your concerns in more detail and decide on the most appropriate treatment plan for you.
You will also be sent an information pack, including a medical questionnaire and pre and post treatment information that will need to be completed prior to your first consultation.
PRE-TREATMENT CONSULTATION
Before your appointment our highly qualified team will have already had the opportunity of reading your medical questionnaire and reviewing any photos you may have already sent in.
This first consultation is the most valuable opportunity for you to talk through your concerns and discuss your desired goals on your journey with us. It is very important that we fully understand what you would like to achieve and we will also offer our expert opinion on how we can help.
At this appointment, if suitable, we will undertake detailed skin analysis and if your treatment plan is going to involve laser treatments, we would also undertake a patch test with the appropriate Fotona laser for your needs. The patch test helps you to know what to expect in terms of sensation and any reactions your skin may have to this treatment.

After your consultation, we will send you a quotation for your treatment and a suggested treatment plan. If more than one session is required, we will include the number of recommended sessions and the length of time each appointment is likely to take. Once you have decided to proceed, we will book your first treatment appointment.
YOUR TREATMENT
At your first treatment appointment you will have the opportunity to ask any further questions you may have before proceeding and will then be required to sign a consent form for the treatment. We always take photographs pre and post treatment to be kept on your personal medical records, we are required to do this medicolegally. It is also invaluable to assess the progress of your skin during your course of treatment. Your consent is also required for photographs to be taken. During the treatment session you will be advised on aftercare to optimise your results and advised about the interval needed before your next session.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
We always encourage you to come back to see us following the end of your treatment course, for a courtesy review appointment. This is a great opportunity to review your progress and see if you have any further questions or needs. This is also an opportunity to discuss maintenance of your skin following your treatment and we can prescribe any relevant at-home skincare if required to ensure your results are maintained for as long as possible.
